Georgia Pacific Cafe & Lobby

The Georgia-Pacific Lobby project was a classic collaborative project including the building owner, GP as the primary tenant, the property manager Jones Lang LaSalle, the design firm, multiple vendors, and Humphries as general contractor. It included a substantial pre-construction and planning process until all parties were satisfied. In this fully occupied building, our scope consisted of the complete renovation of all common area lobby spaces including all new millwork and stone wall panels, new lighting, lighting niches, and elevator lobby ceilings, new custom security desk, custom furniture seating, new stone flooring inserts, signage, way finding, renovation of 23 elevator cab interiors, and a new coffee and sundry shop. All work was after hours, including 10 consecutive weekends in order to make the fast track schedule.
