The Plaza (fka Resurgens Plaza)

The building repositioning project of ‘The Plaza’ building at 945 East Paces Ferry Road consisted of three components. The first component was the renovation of the Grand Lobby. The Grand Lobby scope included updating all lighting, opening up the old stained glass West window, constructing a new, two-story arch at the West window, painting thousands of square feet of old mahogany paneling, applying Italian art glass mirrors, refinishing all the old brass metal accents, building a new social bar and lounge area, renovating ten elevator cabs and creating a new canted & curved millwork security control desk. The second component was the renovation of the parking garage lobbies with new ceilings, wall finishes and floor finishes. The 4th floor parking garage was given a new glass storefront system with automatic doors. The final component of the project was the renovation of the 11th and 12th floor restrooms and common corridors. The 11th floor of The Plaza building is the Main Lobby Floor and the new corridor finishes helped to tie in the new chic feel of the lobbies to the rest of the building.
