9 Mile Station
This space was the last phase of the larger Ponce City Market Roof Amenity Package for Jamestown. This scope included erecting a structural steel framed building with a bar joist roof, roofing and exterior faux brick cladding, and six pairs of 180 degree swinging aluminum storefront doors and transoms. The interior of the space included a new kitchen with Ecogrip Flooring, a bar with soap stone tops and custom wood slat ceilings overhead, polished concrete floors, and tongue and groove shiplap siding on walls. All new mechanical and electrical systems were installed as required to service the restaurant. Since the main freight elevator was not in service during this buildout, this material/equipment delivery challenge was overcome by utilizing hydraulic cranes. The crane lifts were strategically planned to take place over weekends so as to not disrupt retail business located on the bottom floor of the complex.
